It may be dangerous to deal with Death, but dealing with Deathmint is a comparative cake-walk.
Take, for example, the following dialog, taken by a servant of the Duke of Cetgueli.
The Duke: "Alright, Deathmint. I'll make you a deal. I'll spare your life if you grant me a wish."
The Mint: "..."
The Duke: "Stubborn herbaceous growth! If that's how you want to be, I'll take your silence to mean you wish to make no such deal! Is that what you want?"
The Mint: "..."
The Duke: "Very well!" [eats the mint]
